HOW DO WE GET TO AMBERGRIS CAYE?
Guests arriving to Belize must transfer via regional flight or boat to the island of Ambergris Caye. Most of our guests choose the flight option for its convenience and comfort. The island’s airstrip is in San Pedro town, the only town located on the island of Ambergris Caye. We are pleased to arrange your regional flights; the cost will simply be paid 24 hours before you check-in for your flight.
HOW DO WE GET TO NOODLES RETREAT UPON OUR ARRIVAL TO THE ISLAND?
We are pleased to arrange your golf cart pick-up upon arrival in San Pedro and will have someone there to escort you to the property.
Q. HOW FAR IS NOODLES RETREAT FROM THE AIRSTRIP/SAN PEDRO?
We are located about 3.5– 4 miles miles south of San Pedro town, the road is partially paved and partially hard-packed sand.

Q. HOW DO WE GET AROUND THE ISLAND OF AMBERGRIS CAYE?
Your beach home is in the south end area of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro Town. While taxi service is available on the island (pay direct), most of our guests enjoy the convenience and novelty of renting a golf cart. You must have a valid driver’s license and be over 18 to drive a golf cart. Reservations are required.
WHAT IS NOODLES RETREAT ADDRESS? CAN I SHIP ITEMS AHEAD?
We don’t stand on formalities here on the island. Noodles Retreat is a "few houses south on the Island".
Please note: There is no such thing as overnight courier service to/from Belize and the services that exist can be expensive and timely. Additionally, your items could get stuck in customs – for a very long time. In other words, shipping your items to Belize is not advisable.

We start you off with the basics: Coffee, coffee filters, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towel, dish soap, toilet tissue, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. All towels and linens are provided with a mid-week change out, and WIFI is complimentary
IS THE HOUSE AIR-CONDITIONED?
Yes, all the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have a living and kitchen area. Please remember to review the house rules on the use of each unit.
CAN YOU ARRANGE OUR TOURS?
We are happy to customize and pre-book a tour package specific to your interests.
Upon your arrival at your beach getaway, we recommend that you review your activities itinerary, if we have assisted you with pre-booking you will find details already located in the house. To avoid cancellation penalties – which is often the full price of the tour – you must cancel more than 24-hours before the trip departure time.
DOES THE HOME HAVE A TELEPHONE?
There is no landline telephone. We do provide one complimentary local cellular phone with US$5.00 credit. Additional credit can be purchased online or at most corner stores. We communicate mostly by WhatsApp or Telegram.
IS THERE HIGH SPEED WIFI?
Complimentary WIFI is included. Please note that WIFI service in Belize will not be as fast or reliable as you are accustomed to and may not be suitable for streaming entertainment.
WHAT TV CHANNELS DO YOU HAVE?
The major US Networks; ABC, NBC, CBC and FOX as well as their partner news channels are available along with HBO, a variety of movie channels and ESPN sports channels or we provided you with the ability to stream your channels.
IS FISHING EQUIPMENT INCLUDED?
No, fishing equipment is not included.
DOES THE HOUSE HAVE A HAIRDRYER?
Yes, each level has a hairdryer.
IS THERE A SAFE?
Yes, the upper level has a safe.
HOW IS THE BEACH? CAN WE SWIM OFF THE BEACH?
The beaches of Belize have Seagrass or "Turtle Grass" growing; this is harmless and in fact is an important part of Belize’s ecosystem. This grass can grow in our shallow waters as we have such strong protection from the World's second largest barrier reef. This means our waters are warm, calm, and shallow for quite a way out and we are not for the most part of traditional walk-in beaches. For guests wishing to swim in the Caribbean, our dock has stairs leading into the water, diving is not permitted. Please note: periodically, Belize, along with other areas of Central America, The Caribbean, Mexico, and USA, will experience periods of Sargassum Seaweed washing ashore. Sargassum Seaweed comes from the Sargasso Sea in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and is normally kept at bay by water temperatures and currents. We work diligently to keep our beach clear; however, guests should be aware when visiting coastal areas that seaweed may be present.
IS THERE A POOL ONSITE?
We have a lovely pool where you can cool down while enjoying the Caribbean views and breezes.
DO YOU PROVIDE POOL TOWELS?
We provide one pool towel per person.
